Hey there! I’m Kristen.
That’s me over there on the left. Coming from the person who was the most hesitant to take boudoir photos ever… do it! There is something about owning your beauty and loving yourself that is so freaking empowering.

Boudoir is not about making someone else happy, but about embracing the body we have. We each have the right to feel comfortable in our skin. We owe no one an apology or a justification. Rather than apologizing for the stretch marks, we say “look at these marks because they brought me babies”. And this does admit defeat. Boudoir is about claiming acceptance for of our bodies for all of the beauty and strength within it. It is that we, as women, do not only need to look to our intelligence to find superiority, but that we can look to the strength of our feet, our thighs, our breasts and embrace curves and gravity. These elements of our lives remind us that we are all individuals and that together we make something whole.
